Very Good - More Puzzle than Adventure July 13, 2010

This game is very similar to the Myst games. Beautiful graphics (still and cinema), choc full of great puzzles, a sense of magic and mystery in the air... a great game. The only problem is that you are not entirely sure why the heck you are solving all these crazy puzzles. I took off one star for that reason - lack of plot. There is a bad guy, you need to stop him... by solving puzzles? And who is this order that you belong too? And why are there barely any people anywhere? If the world is at stake, shouldn't there be more of a sense of urgency? And why does your character sound like such an idiot the few times he speaks?
Bottom line - if you like Myst, your will enjoy this game. Do be careful of the first set of puzzles though, they are possibly the hardest in the game, and you have little guidance.
